Our Story

It Started With One Little Boy.

I'm Jennifer, founder of Trunova Kids—but before I was a founder, I was simply a mom searching for answers.

When my son was diagnosed with ADHD at just four years old, our family had already spent years searching for answers. Long before the diagnosis, there were speech delays that made it difficult for him to communicate. There were heartbreaking meltdowns that sometimes lasted for hours. Preschool became a daily struggle as he had difficulty sitting still, following directions, listening to his teachers, and controlling his impulses. We received frequent reports about disruptive behavior, and it was painful watching a little boy with such a big heart constantly being corrected for things he couldn't seem to control.

As if that wasn't enough, he also struggled with frequent stomach pain for more than a year. We visited doctor after doctor hoping to find an answer, but every test seemed to bring more questions than solutions. Watching him hurt physically while also struggling emotionally left me feeling helpless.

As his mom, I wasn't just watching him struggle—I was living it alongside him. I knew he was incredibly bright, kind, and full of potential, but I also knew there had to be more to his story than what we were being told.

Like many parents, medication was presented as the next step. While I respected every family's choice, I felt called to understand why my son was struggling and whether there was anything I could do to better support his developing brain and overall health through nutrition.

That search led me to the growing research on the gut-brain connection. As I began supporting his gut health—including adding probiotics to his daily routine—something unexpected happened. The stomach pain that had persisted for over a year gradually disappeared. That experience changed everything.

While earning my Master's degree in Social Work, I dedicated countless hours to studying scientific research on children's nutrition, brain health, inflammation, and the gut-brain connection. Night after night, I immersed myself in the evidence, determined to understand how targeted nutrition could better support growing children. Inspired by both my son's journey and the research, I developed the formula that would eventually become Trunova Kids—a clean, research-informed daily nutrition drink thoughtfully formulated to support focus, attention, calm, digestive health, and healthy cognitive function through targeted nutrition.

Over time, I watched my son begin to thrive in ways I had once only hoped for. His communication grew. He became more emotionally regulated. School became less of a struggle, and I watched his confidence blossom as he discovered what he was capable of.

Then, one afternoon as I arrived to pick him up from preschool, his teacher came flying out the door with a huge smile on her face and asked, "What did you do? He's done a 180!" I stood there holding back tears. For so long, I had prayed for someone else to see what I had always seen in my son—a bright, kind, capable little boy who simply needed the right support to thrive.

That moment changed our family forever.

I realized there were countless parents lying awake at night asking the very same questions I once asked—wondering how to best support their child and searching for hope.

Trunova Kids wasn't created because I wanted to build a supplement company. It was born because I wanted other families to have the resource I desperately wished I'd had when our journey began.

Today, every formula we create reflects that mission: clean ingredients, evidence-informed nutrition, and an unwavering commitment to helping children build the nutritional foundation they need to learn, grow, and thrive.

Because every child deserves the opportunity to reach their fullest potential—and every parent deserves hope.
